MANAGER RULES

Bradley-Bourbonnais Minor League<= o:p>

 

1)      =             The Manager and Coaches are required for helping prepare the field = for the start of the season, after a rainfall and during the season.  Parents should be encouraged to participate; after all, their child(ren) will be playing on this field.=

 

2)      =             Your team is responsible for picking up the dugout and bleacher area during and

after the game. 

 

3)      =             The Manager or Representative from the last game of the day is to s= tay until all equipment has been picked up, playing field has been manicured for the next playing day and all the players have been picked up. A manager or coach is also to remain at the practice site until all players have been pi= cked up. Violation of the rule is an follows:

1st Offense= :       Warning

2nd Offense= :      One game suspension

3rd Offense= :       Remov= al of Manager

 

4)      =             Each team may have a maximum of three adults in your dugout. They m= ust be at least eighteen (18) years of age.&nb= sp; This rule is an “Insurance Regulation” and must be follo= wed.  Violation of the rule is an follow= s:

 

1st Offense= :       Warning

2nd Offense= :      One game suspension

3rd Offense= :       Remov= al of Manager   

 

5)      =             Each Manager is responsible for finding a Team Parent to help with = the fundraisers, concession work and team pictures. 

 

6)      =             All Managers need to a parent meeting to help explain how they will= run their team and what is expected of their players and from them as parents.<= o:p>

 

7)      =             All Managers will make copies of the League Rules and Players Rules= for their players and their parents.  Please go over these rules with all the players.

 

8)      =             A Manager with advanced approval from the division Vice President, = the Player Agent, and one other board member may request, in writ= ing, a one (1) game suspension of a player for disciplinary reasons. Parents wil= l be informed of any suspension given by the Manager.

 

9)         = There will be no cell phone, pager, or walkie-talkie usage inside the playing field. 

        &= nbsp;   Violation of these rules is as follows:

 

1st offense:            =         One game suspension

2nd offense= :        &= nbsp;          Removal as Manager

 

10)       Abusive, profane language wi= ll not be tolerated under any circumstance by any Manager or Coach while at the baseball complex or practice site.  Disciplinary action will be taken = as follows for those not abiding by this rule.

11)       Mana= gers will need to attend the yearly clean up days, sign-ups, try-outs, and the        =             &nb= sp;    

   &= nbsp;        drafts that are held each year.

 

12)  = ;     Managers caught intentionally not following the Little League playing rules or League rules will be given the following suspension:

 

            =             &nb= sp;           1st offense:      = ;            &n= bsp; One game suspension

        &= nbsp;           &nbs= p;            &= nbsp;  2nd offense:      = ;             <= /span>Removal as Manager

 

13)       All players must play a minimum of three (3) innings a game. This includes at b= at once and every player must play thr= ee (3) full games per season= .  If a Manager fails to follow this = rule, he/she will be given the following suspension:

        &= nbsp;           &nbs= p;            &= nbsp;  2nd offense:      = ;             <= /span>Removal as Manager

 

14)  &n= bsp;    The player that was not given his/her three innings will then start the next scheduled game and play the complete game.

 

15)       There= will be a 3-member review committee to deal with any problems with

Managers/Coaches or Pl= ayers. The review committee = may assign discipline points based on evaluation of the situation. The committee will inform the Board of the decision.

 

16)       If a manage= r gets 3 points or more in a season, they will not be allowed to play or coach in = any post season games and will be subject to Board review.

 

17)       Each = team will have a team file at the LL field house to keep all team info in.<= /o:p>

 

18)       Each = team will have a written set of team rules that the Manager/Coach, Parents =

and Players will sign.  This form will be kept in the team= file at the LL field house.  If thi= s is not done, you will not be allowed to Manager/Coach in post-season games.

 

19)       = Background checks for the manager, coaches, and team parent must be turned in to the division V.P. prior to any interaction with the players.<= /p>

 

20)  = ;     Coaches are encouraged to practice 3 times per week prior to the games starting and= 2 times per week once the games begin.
