MANAGER RULES

Bradley-Bourbonnais T-Ball League=

 

1)      =             The Manager and Coaches are required to help prepare the field for = te start of the season, af= ter a rainfall and during the season.  Parents should be encouraged to participate; after all, their child (ren) will be playing on this field. This includes putting the foul ball ar= c on the infield, if your team is the home team.

 

2)      =             Your team is responsible for picking up the dugout and bleacher area during and

after the game. 

 

3)      =             The Manager or Representative from the last game of the day are to = stay until all equipment has been picked up, playing field has been manicured for the next playing day, concession stand has been closed, flag has been taken down and all the players have been picked up. A manager and/or coach must a= lso wait for all players to be picked up from practice before leaving the site themselves.

 

4)      =             Each team may have a maximum of three adults in the dugout. They mu= st be at least eighteen (18) years of age.&nb= sp; This rule is an “Insurance Regulation” and must be followed.  Violation of the ru= le is an follows:

 

1st Offense= :       Warning

2nd Offense= :      One game suspension

3rd Offense= :       Remov= al of Manager   

 

5)      =             All Managers and Coaches must remain in the dugout while a game is = in progress.

 

EXCEPTIONS: = ;          1)         = Injury to player

2)      =             A called time-out

3)      =             Coach the bases

 

6)      =             Each Manager is responsible for finding a Team Parent to help with = the fundraisers, concession work and team pictures.  This is a very important job.=

 

7)      =             All Managers need to call a parent meeting to explain how they will= run their team and what is expected of their players and from them as parents.<= o:p>

 

8)      =             All Managers will make copies of the League Rules and Players Rules= for their players and their parents.  Please go over these rules with all the players.

 

9)      =             A Manager with advanced approval from the division Vice President, = the Player Agent, and one other board member may request, in writing, a one (1) game suspension of a player for disciplinary reas= ons. Parents will be informed of any suspension given by the Manager.=

 

10)      =         NO METAL CLEATS are allowed at any time by anyone on the field.

 

11)      =         A Manager that has been suspended from a game for any reason may no= t be at the

baseball= complex for his/her team’s game during that suspension. No communications of any kind (including electronic devices) can take place during the game between the manager and the coaches and players on the field or in the dugout.

 

12)      =         All alcoholic beverages and any types of drugs are forbidden at practices, games    =         =             &nb= sp;      or at the baseball complex itself.  Anyone caught with alcohol, drugs or trying to distribute any illegal drugs will be turned over to the AUTHORITIES IMMEDIATELY.=

 

13a)     There will be no smoking or other tobacco products in the dugout, or on the

playing<= span style=3D'font-size:12.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt'> field at anytime duri= ng games, practices or special events. 

 

13b)     There will be no cell phone, pager, or walkie-talkie use allowed inside the playi= ng

field.

 

Violation of these rules is as follows:

 

1st offense:            =         One game suspension

2nd offense:            =        Removal as Manager

 

14)      =         Abusive, profane language will not be tolerated under any circumsta= nce by any Manager or Coach while at the baseball co= mplex or at the practice site.  Disciplinary action will be taken as follows for those not abiding by this rule.

            =             &nb= sp;           2nd offense:      = ;             <= /span>Removal as Manager

 

15)       Managers caught intentionally not following the Little League playing rules or League rules will be given= the following suspension:

 

            =             &nb= sp;           1st offense:      = ;            &n= bsp; One game suspension

        &= nbsp;           &nbs= p;            &= nbsp;  2nd offense:      = ;             <= /span>Removal as Manager

 

16)       Background checks for the manager, coaches, and team parent must be turned in to the division V.P. pr= ior to any interaction with the players.
